September Update: Release bulletin and some Android 10 plans

Another month of releases, so straight ahead to the changelog of this month.

Pie Edition:

  • Added automatic theme based on time
  • Added back dark notifications (you can switch between white and dark)
  • Added back face auto unlock
  • Added ability to configure QS rows and columns
  • Improved ambient play
  • Fixed heads up disabling
  • Fixes on black theme
  • Improved scrolling on some apps
  • Fixed screenshot edit
  • Fixed Incall vibration not working
  • Fixed missing edit action on screenshot notification
  • Improved LiveDisplay
  • Enhanced call blocking
  • Improved network traffic

Android 10 Q Plans

On the last tuesday (September 3rd), the Android 10 Q was released, and as usual, people started asking when will be the releases of Q builds.

We are not going to give any ETA, but we can confirm that we are probably going to start working on it this week.

Also, we will still supporting Android 9 Pie until December, but the continuity of the Pie builds until there will be a maintainer’s choice.
